Joe was born in Manchester to Tommie and Margaret and music has always been a big part of family life.
Joe has now been DJing for over 20 years and through this first got involved with the Irish radio in Manchester when Alan Keegan asked him to join the very popular How's the Craic team and went on to present a show on Irish festival radio, in 2000 the very successful All Fm community radio station was born and by 2003 Joe and The Full Irish show took to the air waves.
The show has gone from strength to strength and 2008 was a hugely successful year with the show winning 3 awards due to the commitment and dedication of the volunteers along with the support and generosity of the Irish community in Manchester. |
